Aqua Notes 3.2 Bug

When I put the following as a name in the inhabitants database, the software crashes:

Red Legged Hermit Crab

Once it provided a message that the name was too long, but still crashed the database.

I tried this and couldn't get the program to crash. What version and build of AquaNotes (see selftest)? What version of windows? Can anyone else replicate this problem?

Curt

Version 3.2 build 3.21.

Just checked it again. It does beep when it shutsdown and has to be an error with the field size.

What is the size of the field?

Did you try entering a long name?

I tried it and it did crash for me also. Hit "New" at the top. With more than 25 characters the error reads:

"Error reads runtime error '3163':
The field is to small to accept the amount of data you attempted to add. Try inserting or pasting less data."

When you hit OK in the error box, the program closes. Hope this helps.

The field size is 25 characters. I was able to replicate it now, and the bug has been fixed. It will be available to everyone in the next AquaNotes release. Thanks.
