AquaC Remora Bubble Problems

I have an AquaC Remora skimmer on my 29g FOWLR tank. I've been trying to break it in; so far no skimmate, but I expected that. All I have are copious amounts of microbubbles. Any suggestions on how I could get rid of them?

get the prefilter and put a small sponge on the exit end as it leaves the water return side. You can also put some clean paper towel or cotton over the top of the spray injector then put the collection cup back in place to get rid of the noise a bit. I have the one with mj1200 and the prefilter works fine for me, mine pulls out some nastiness...good luck

Do you like the pre filter? I'm looking at getting that for mine (I think it comes with a sponge too), but to be honest the mj1200 really seems to be kinda a wimp when it comes to pulling water out of the tank??

I still get the micro bubbles and I've had the skimmer for about 3 months.
