Aquaclear/HOB Users!

Hi guys,

I was wondering if any of you guys have problems with the aquaclear or any other hob making bubbles as the water crashes back into the aquarium? I really like the amount of flow you can get, and the fact that you can make a refuge out of one, but am wary about causing bubbles. TIA,

It only happens if your water level is too low.

If it is making bubbles, it's definitely time to top off the evaporation.

Apart from that, they work great.

no problems with bubbles unless the water level in the tank gets below the output on the Aquaclear. for a nano tank, these filters are really good at giving a lot of water flow in a small tank. i have one modded as my main source of filtration on a 10 gallon (not counting the liverock and sandbed as a filter source).
