Aquaclear Refugium vs Algae scrubber

Hi i would like to know is it better to grow chaeto or have al algae scrubber in your aquaclear hob. What would be easier? I saw this pic on a thread and how it works really great but also saw someone with chaeto doing well too....thanks guys!*

Algae scrubber >>>> refugium on that scale. If you ever owned nano aio tank with refugium mod, you can see green algae on light area out compete cheato. I think refugium works well if it's higher volume (30% +) to total volume of the tank.
