Aquacontroller JR questions

Well I purchased a use aquacontroller jr the other day and I have it hooked up and giving me a temp and ph reading. My question is, How do I go about hooking my lights up to it. It came with 2 or 3 x-10 modules but no instructions. If someone could point me in the right direction I would be very happy.

Well you have to have the X10 controller to use those. I prefer using the DC8 or the DC4s...

I have the ACJr with DC8 and I have never used it with X-10 but I believe you hook the ACjr up to the x-10 interface with a phone cord and plug the interface into the wall. Then you plug the lights into to x-10 controller.

The best place to ask would be the Neptune forum in the sponsors section.

Hook it up as alpha says and setup the x10 devices in the acjr.
I use aquanotes and have not set anything up directly in the controller so I can't tell you how.

You hook up the power interface to the ACjr then plug in the X10 modules on the wall or powerstrip, make sure its a cheap $5 power strip because the expensive ones have noise supression and will block out the signal that the x10 needs to operate, chose a different channel for each x10 module, they should each have their own channel, and lets say on the ACjr you chose you MH lights for channel A1 , make sure that the module that you plug in your MH lights is set to A1 , and so on, im controlling 10 different things with my ACjr with X10's and have no problem the only problem i believe you will have is either using expensive power strips or plugging something in into a cirtuit that the signal wont get to. the way i have them is i have a few cheap power strips plugged into each other and the control module in the same power strip to make sure the signal is clear and wont have to travel too far.

so you should have no problems setting it up, its pretty easy some of the programing can get quite confusing at times but once you get the gang of it its pretty easy. the manual is pretty easy to understand if you dont have the manual download it online, i saw you posted this on the neptune forum also so you should be able to download the manual and any questions feel free to ask.
