Aquacontroller powerheads

What powerheads do you use with your controller? I know that the Seios I have are not supported. I guess I'll be looking at something that I can control.

Tunze's 6100, 6000's 6200's 6055's are all controllable with the ACJr. just remember you need the aquasurf also.

The manual speaks to a left right pump set up that can alternate. It doesn't mention the need for the aquasurf. Is that just for the Tunzes?

The controller can turn devices on and off such as any random powerhead. The aquasurf with a controllable tunze pump can do a bunch more like 30% 100% pulses, Wave mode (like having a wavebox in your tank) etc...

The problem with turning AC pumps on and off is they are prone to failure and maybe not starting back up again, or starting up again with the propeller going the wrong direction...

With the controllable Tunze pumps I listed above they are meant to be controlled like this and won't have the start up problems

I've spent a bunch of money on this lately, and I'm going to have to see if I can't get by for a while without the controlled powerheads then I guess.

shouldn't be a problem, As long as you have appropriate flow then I would just leave it "as is" Probably be one of the last things to upgrade.
