I used this about 2 months and the guy I got it from said he had it just under a year, I will check, but it may still be under warranty.
This is a 5 bulb fixture with individual reflectors and a fan to cool the bulbs/ballasts for higher output. It also comes with a spash sheild. Has 2 switches/power cords, one controls 2 bulbs, the other 3 bulbs.
This would be perfect for a 36 inch tank, but would also work on a 48 inch tank just fine if you hung it over the tank. On a 36 inch tank it can sit right on the rim of the tank.
These retail for about $450 new from Salty Critter.
$240 firm with no bulbs. I have some extra T-5 bulbs that were used just to test bulb combos to find one I liked, you can get them with the fixture for $10 each.
