Aquactinics fixture question

Hey guys,

Would a 5 bulb 24w Aquactinics T5 fixture be good enough for a Solana? This tank would be for LPS and Softies and the fixture would be hung around 5" above the tank and the tank itself is 20" so the fixture would be around 25" away from the bottom of the tank.

Thanks for the reply. I am having a tough time finding a good light for this tank. Something with legs that can be mounted on the tank as I don't want to hang anything from the ceiling and at this point I think that I would prefer to stay away from LED lighting.

You'll be fine. I hung a 24" TX5 over my 30" tank with SPS and LPS throughout. It's a great fixture that's well made and works great.

Does your tank was 30" deep? What size tank?

My tank dimensions are 30" (w) x 22" (d) x 20" (h), so from the bottom the lights were about 20" plus another 3 - 4 " above the tank .
