Aquactinics Tx5 enough for a 70g?

Getting a new tank and want to go with a simple fixture that will provide all the light I need. I'm considering the Aquactinics TX5 T5 fixture. The dimensions of the tank are 36"x18"x25". Would the 36" Aquactinics fixture be enough for such a tank. I don't plan on going with SPS, but I'm considering clams... The tank will mostly be a softie/filter feeder tank.

Beyond this, does anyone know if it is possible to swap out the Aquactinics ballasts with Icecaps? I have a few IC ballasts. I might try to exchange for them in case the stock ones don't give me enough light.

You would have to put the clams up high. You could defintitely switch out the ballasts but nit sure it would fit in the fixture. Buying some endcaps and Icecap SLRs would be more cost effective...

I just don't want to have to build the canopy to hold a retrofit. Most pre-made canopies don't allow for the airflow you need to provide Icecap driven T5s. Too much of a hassle for me. I just want one simple light fixture above my tank.

Now I've noticed that I can get a Tek 6 lamp fixture for just about the same price. Considering that I intend to actively cool the fixture anyway, which one should I go with?
