Aquadyne Octopus And Goldline Temperature Controllers

I won an auction on ebay and it appears that I will be taking possession of two Aquadyne Octopus controllers with probes and several Goldline temperature controllers. Does anyone have any experience with the Aquadyne Octopus? I assume from the pictures it is a first generation as there are newer models.

Wow! I got my package - old school reef tank monitoring and automation. There is two Octopus controllers with probes for temp, PH, and ORP plus 24 satellite modules that can run a heater, doser, lighting, wavemaker, and lighting (simple on/off). It uses wall socket power to communicate to satellites.

Satellite? Like space satellites? Does It take standard ph/orp probes or are they special types.. Never heard of them myself..
