Aquafoamaster #2 Skimmer

Now that I have a bigger tank running my Coralife 65 is just undersized and I need to get a bigger skimmer on the tank. I have this Venturi skimmer from Emperor Aquatics but I have no idea what size or kind of pump I need for it. I have never had a venturi skimmer before and I'm not completely sure how they work. Can any of you point me in the right direction?

I would say you would connect a venturied pump where you have the vinyl tubing coming out. The gate valve is to adjust the water heighth in the skimmer. The black fitting is for an airline.

If it were me, I would completely mod this skimmer, make it recirculating and feed it with a drain.
