AquaFuge HOB Refugiums

What have you heard about these? I am seriously thinking about getting one for my 29g as I would like to grow some macroalgae and pods to help the overall health of my tank and prevent any unwanted microalgae from taking over.

Mine has worked well for over a year. You can get a cheap florescent light ~$15 at walmart. I took off the down pipe going out, and it is much better IMO--it flows over and out--less risk of flooding.
I also replaced the RIO w/ a MJ 600.

Recently I built a 33 cube with the medium model. I love mine, the build quality is better than I expected. It is also bigger than I expected. Pods everywhere now, chaeto growing well. I added a micro powerhead to the inside of the fuge for chaeto tumbling.

Here it is on the back of my tank

Looks like they've changed the design since I got mine. I see they eliminated the part that I did myself.

What about the Deluxe (or is it Pro?) model that comes with the CPR-2R Bak Pak skimmer built inside, how does that work? Any overflow/leaking issues?

The Saltwater Kid, the lights are CPR brand, the acrylic legs as well. The cube in my case was designed to look sharp in my office, so spending extra on lights and acrylic stands was worth the $$$, however, the Melv Chaeto light would work just as well. Ordered from Marinedepot, the CPR lights are made to match each size Aquafuge, one for small, medium and large. The PS model looks to be great space saver, however, from my viewpoint... I really did not need it as I have Remoras, so I can't relay any opinions on those PS models. So far the fuge is working really well, I'm very happy with it and I would buy it again without hesitation.

I happy with mine. I have the large model on a 55g. I added a berlin airlift 60 to the area where water flows into it, fits great and out performs my remora....
