Is this under water epoxy reefsafe. Given to me by a friend who picked it up at a Home Depot. He said it was. I'm asking for some real knowledge from other reefers. Thanks in advance. Mike

I always use it look at the pic!!!!

yep love it...i cut the frags off of plugs and just push them into the expoxy...once they encrust over don't even know it was there.

This epoxy is safe, but you will find it somewhat more annoying to use than the Two Little Fishes stuff. It is slow to set up, and the white color is a bit (no a lot!) unnatural.

I found the stuff below also at Home Depot (and other stores) Seems to work better then the Aquamend stuff... and sets up quicker.. more gray then the aquamend stuff.... it's usually over in the glue section...

I just use super glue gel in between the frag and epoxy and in between the epoxy and rock - no worries about it curing slow then!

Not sure about the other stuff - never read or heard of it before, so I will stick to my epoxy/super glue sammach.

I like to use Aquamend or crazy glue. Never had an issue with Aquamend and blends right in after it colors up and doesn't get my fingers stuck together!!

I tried Aquamend and the smell is awful. Very strong chemical odor. It really didn't hold my frags in place that well. I've not tried the superglue/epoxy combo, so maybe that will work better.

This stuff is seems identical to the AquaStik Gray Reef Epoxy 4 oz

Sets up in about 3 minutes and smells identical.. I bet its the same product. Only cost $4 with no shipping charges.
