I've always wanted a sump but lacked the space "“ I can have one now.
I have ordered the new Red Sea Reefer Nano tank and should be with me in a few weeks.
So I need some advice on prep work. (My tank has been running since October)
Hopefully you can advise me further.
I will have my 2 tanks right next to each other.
I intend on adding a bit more sand and live rock to new.
The Reefer Nano has a 77 litre display tank and a 28 litre sump underneath.
105 litres total.
This is almost double the water volume I have in mine (55L).
What will be the BEST procedure here onwards in order to transfer from one tank to the other?? (Timescale is not an problem)
Step by step??
Water?
Sand?
Stock?
