AquaPod 24G??

I like that mentality but i have a question or two :D

1. What are you planning to keep?

2. Is the tank Bare Bottom, SSB or DSB?

3. Do you want it to be controllable?

IMO, Tunze 6025 x 2 should be sufficient but you can always go with the 6045 or 6055 if you like to have crazy flow like me :D

I plan to keep a few fish/critters and coral. I have a normal sand bed which I guess is shallow since it's not deep. I'm not sure what you mean by "controllable"..if I could do that I'd be soooo happy to tell my corals to GROW!

You can go with 1 tunze 6055 and the 7091 single controller. Here is some information.

For aquariums from 40 to 500 litres (11 to 132 USgal.)
Flow rate: 1,000 to 5,500 l/h (264 to 1,453 USgal./h)
Energy consumption: 4 - 18 W
Voltage / frequency: 230V/50-60Hz
Cable length: 5 m (196.8 in.)
Dimensions: diam. 70 mm (2.7 in.), output: diam. 40/15 mm (1.5 / .59 in.)
Compatible with 7091 and 7095 controllers

 i think we were talking about two different things. Are you asking about protein skimmer or Flow?

If you are talking about the protein skimmer, the tunze nano 9002 is what you will need.

ahhh... sorry, my fault for being unclear. Back to flow, why the need for it beyond stock stuff? Sorry to sound like and idiot!

Stock return pump will not be enough for the coral. You will have dead spot in the tank without the use of powerhead.
