An opportunity has become available onboard the Motor Yacht I work on to maintain the 7,500 litre Reef Aquarium.

Aquarist/Dive Master Required.
A newly built 125m Motor Yacht is seeking a suitably qualified & very experienced Aquarist/Dive Master to maintain the yacht's 7,500 litre Coral Reef Aquarium & assist with SCUBA Diving duties.
Preferably with extensive experience in a Public Aquarium, applicants must have at least 1 years experience maintaining a Coral Reef System.
A sound knowledge of coral husbandry is essential, as well as fish health, Life Support System function/design & water chemistry.
Applicants must be able to be completely self sufficient in their role, with the ability to deal with system faults or LSS component malfunction, along with the day to day maintenance.
Knowledge of the Neptune Systems "œApex" Aquarium controller would be a huge advantage.
Preference will also be given to applicants with extensive SCUBA Diving experience & that hold a recognised professional diving qualification, PADI Dive Master or equivalent (or higher).
Due to the design of the aquarium, applicants must be comfortable working underwater in a restricted overhead environment.
Applicants must be of smart appearance with no visible Tatoo's when wearing shorts & t-shirts.
Applicants must be able to complete the STCW Seafarer's Training & obtain a Maritime Coastguard Agency ENG1 Medical.
The role will be on a 3 month onboard/3 months off basis (Subject to variations depending on the yachts movements).
A competitive salary is on offer for the right candidate, along with Single Person BUPA Medical Insurance & 2 return flights home a year.
