does anybody have any suggestion of good backgrounds and where you got them .i am looking at some for my tank. i cant make up my mind maybe some pictures will help. and i was thinking of puting it on 3 sides instead of just the back to keep the light out from a window and sliding glass door, does this make sence or will it look wierd.

My wife has been having a ton of Doctors appointments and had surgery in Oklahoma City and while at a PetSmart I saw some really interesting backgrounds. Some of which are setup so they look like they are in motion or blue and like moving water, when you change focus it has that kind of look. I would imagine that most LFS or "Pet" shops will have something like this. But if you have a lot of LR you probably would not be able to see the backgrounds anyway.

I asked a preference question the other day, and someone posted a cool picture of a blue background that got darker as it got lower, to show depth.

Either way, the stuff is 5 bucks, change it anytime you want. Cheap as far as this hobby goes!

three sides will look silly. Buy some blinds.

I got the oceanvisions deep ocean blue background. Works pretty good and looks good too. I haven't put water in the tank yet, so I'm not sure how it look completely set up, but I still recommend it.
