I sent a copy your way, give me some feedback on it when you can, I'm trying to figure out what else can be added.

Using the same chart with the testing numbers, this way we will know when we did the water change and how it effects the parameter. Something like this

samplecm.jpg

Oh I see what you're saying, like a larger indicator on the sheet when a water change is done because it will change the rest of the parameters?

If that's what you're talking about I could use some conditional formatting so that when a water change is done it will highlight the rest of that line whatever color I choose. I could also make it place "Water Change" in the comments automatically if a value is entered in the water change column.

Would any of you find this useful as a web application? To do all your logging? And eventually as an iPhone app?

Or does a controller basically do all of this

Yessirybob :D

So many things can change the parameters so I am not sure you want to add all of them:

Water changes, additives, water top off, calcium reactor adjustments, adding live stock/corals, adding/subtracting equipment, the use of chemical filtration, etc.

Yeah there are a lot of factors that would flag changes in the other parameters. It would be a lot of code to write to make a spreadsheet that intelligent.

I'll get it out to you after I get home, at work right now. Sorry for the late reply, I haven't been on the past couple of days.
