Aquarium Movers in NYC?

Sorry, I posted this to the General Forum before I realized that there was an NY specific one....

Hi,

I was wondering if anybody had any experiences using a service to move a saltwater aquarium in NY (Manhattan). I've got a 55 gallon FOWLR with some inverts and an under-tank sump. While I've moved my tank once before, I think I'd feel a little more comfortable if there was a pro doing it for me this time.

Has anybody used a company around here that they would or would not recommend?

Thanks,
Mike

Hey Doza.. although I have never used them, I have frequently vistited the store and they can possibly help with your situation as they routinely service commercial and home aquariums for clients. They are called Manhattan Aquariums. 511 West 33rd Street New York, NY 10001
(212) 594-2272 Ask for the Store Mgr, his name is Olivere.

Great guys and service
I had a buddy who used them and they did it all and even bought the tank from him!!! He said no mess and was super quick

Thanks for the info! I actually got a recommendation for OceanView Aquarium Service (http://fishtanknewyork.com/) and they had an opening on the day I want to move, so I'm going to give them a try. I'll post back here and let you know how it goes.
