aquarium placement

I am trying to figure out which room to put my aquarium in. Is it a problem to have it in the same room with my surround sound system. Every once in awhile it gets fairly loud in there! But that is the room where we would see it the most.

if anything it would aid in surface agitation, save some money on powerheads....
but realistically, I wouldn't feel comfortable having my soon to be empty tank next to a highpowered subwoofer.
The whole finding nemo " Darla knocking on the glass" comes to mind...I would feel that this would stress the fish a bit. BTW Welcome to MARS

Agreed. Contrary to popular belief, fish don't like hip-hop.

I must admit I do innitiate each and every coral/fish I collect with some loud hardcore industrial music on the way home. It's a form of assimilation
