Question:

Has anyone planted Mangroves or shaving brush plants in their main display tank? If so, did your nitrate's lower? I don't have a refugium and would like to plant some saltwater varities in my tank that look nice.

Mangroves really don't lower Nitrates much and the shaving brush plants Im not to sure on but I believe the same with them. They look nice though, but lowering nitrates, theres better ways.
