Aquarium Restoration.

I have a few scratches on my 150 gallon. I am tearing it down temporarly in about a month. Is there anyway to refurbish the glass finish in order to get rid of the scratches? I can feel the scratches with my nail so they fairly large and deep. Am I better off to buy a new tank?

There are special abrasive pastes that you need, but it is very doable, and cheaper than buying a new tank. You will be thinning the glass a bit, and if it's in the middle of the glass for instance you might not want the optical effects...

Ok it is right in the middle of the glass. Would i be better off to find out if a glass shop could do it for me?
