Our aquarium service company is looking to add more technicians to our team. We are located in Monmouth County and we travel throughout the state to service freshwater, FOWLR, and reef aquariums of all sizes in both residential and commercial settings. After training you will be given a route and a van that is fully equipped with maintenance tools as well as 2 tanks containing ~150 gallons of both fresh and saltwater. Every aquarium and job location is different but common tasks include water changes with gravel cleanings, soft and hard algae cleaning, filter media replacement, canister filter service, water testing and balancing, disease and pest prevention and treatment, aquarium installations and break-downs, fish and coral acclimation, etc. Plumbing skills are not required but they are a plus.
This is a great position for any reef enthusiast looking for work. Some heavy lifting is required (water jugs, live rock, tanks, etc). Applicant must be professional and clean cut.. and will also need to pass a background check and drug test. Pay depends on experience.
