I was just thinking, so did a quick search, but I haven't seen where anyone talks about the rock work allowing for larger fish. The pictures I've seen appear to accommodate smaller fish, maybe up to about 3 inches, but what happens when that fish grows to 5 inchs or more? Do you re-do the rock or do they no longer feel the need to hide as much?

for me personally i try to plan a variety of spaces in my aquascape. from small caves to large caves, overhangs and ledges, and other features to give a large selection of places for fish to feel secure.
if your fish are correctly sized to you tank (adult size a the primary consideration) and your aquascape is correctly sized to your tank, it shouldn't be an issue.
it also depends on how many and what type of fish you're trying to provide for.
