I'm looking for an honest appraisal of my LR layout. What went right what went wrong? Kinda sad with all the planing that went into this tank the LR was more doing with what I got rather than a solid plan. It's been running for 7 months now planning a mixed reef just softies and a hammer as of now. Just going to post picture of rock alone after I placed in tank. What are your opinions?

I think it looks pretty good but I personally prefer a lot of caves.

I like all the ledges, try turning up the whites when taking a picture though. Kinda hard to see all the detail.

What are you talking about? Your rockwork is crazy good. Get yourself some brighter corals to replace whats in there now and in my opinion it will be amazing. Maybe some bright zoas at the base. Maybe a green slimer which is an extremely easy sps. Just my thought though.
Looks like your thermometer is the focal point of the tank. How come you don't put it in the sump? Especially with your setup.

Thank you! I forgot it was there I have a digital that has been throwing some crazy numbers at me and wanted to cross check it. I'm kinda waiting to spend on corals it has only been 6 months. Taking it easy I just moved from nanos and this is my first big build. Thank you everyone for your input.

I agree, would love to see some color as it's very monochromatic... Really great setup :beer:
