Aquascape question?

Do you have a pic of this diy stuff?
Here is mine. I get a regular 20 oz pop bottle or water bottle and cut it at the shoulder. Then I invert the top and stick the cap end inside the bottle. I have used a small pc of duct tape to hold it together. I put the bottom of the bottle in the sand with the open end diagonally slightly up in the air so when the mantis goes in, it slides to the bottom. I have caught my pistol shrimp with this contraption easily. I have even used it on small fish which is why I have 2 different size openings.

Nice
Does that duct tape hold the top?

FWIW, in a tank years ago, I had a hitchhiker mantis. I fed him daily and he was actually a model citizen.

It should be noted you could have both a mantis and a pistol. While I believe it’s possible, I can’t say I’ve seen in recent memory of a mantis or pistol breaking glass.

Also if you don’t have anyone local, I’d be willing to pay shipping if you wanted to consider shipping it.

I've heard the stories but actually never knew of a mantis actually breaking the glass of an aquarium. My son kept one as a pet when he was in HS. Her name was Shakira.
