Aquatic Reef in Dundee

Check out this beauty I picked up from Aquatic Reef tonight...
I can't wait for the colors to pop. It is blue and purple!

Thanks. I will definatley keep you in mind. Anyone know what it is? Judging by the coralites and the large holes in them I think it might be an echinata. It also has a "ridge" like skin. What do you guys think?

The "enchinata" (good guess) does look sweet! (although a little bleached). . I believe that you have a little purple guy that looks very similar .

Yes, I do...and thank you for that piece! It took a hit with the tank switch and my dipping routine (please don't take offense, but every coral gets dipped regardless of who it is from), but I figure it will be looking it's best in a few weeks.

The new guy was pale, but will color up in no time. They usually take about 3 weeks to look their best...during which I feed the heck out of my tank....I will post again later in a few weeks.

So you think it might be an Echi, huh?

I was at Aquatic Reef the other day and was eyeing on that but, i remember that the color was more deeper purple/blue (i mean you can't miss it). Anyway, congrats!
