Aquatic Variations closing

Just stopped by Aquatic Variations in Mountain view and spoke with the owner. He is being forced out of his space, and will be closing his doors in the next 6-8 weeks. He doesn't know if he will relocate or if he will just get out of the business for awhile.

I have always liked Aquatic Variations. The owner is an excellent guy, very friendly, knowledgable, and family orientated. He looked sincerley sad about the store closing after 10 years there. He feels really bad about the families that are regulars.

Now I know he had a very small selection of corals and Saltwater fish in general, but on the SW fish side would usually get some unusal fish, at reasonable prices.

Aquatic Variations will be missed......

Note he did mention that his tanks and items will be liquidated after he closes....

Whoa, that sucks. I really like Aquatic Variations - never a huge selection of SW fish, but they're always healthy looking, and the owner always tries to get me what I'm looking for.

I will definitely miss it.

The owner is a great guy. I got much help, and I always relies on him
I hope he can relocate his store soon.

Wow, that sucks. I agree with the previous comments. not the best selection however great customer service.

Hopefully he will relocate his store.

This is really sad news....I've had quite a few long conversations w/ the owner when business was slow. I really felt he cared about the creatures under his care and his customers. I've made several purchases from him and still love my two yellow tangs I got there!

I too hope he relocates!
