well ive been running my model 3 and i would have to say that this sump is legit. runs very very quite, cool design, and build quality is nice as well. the only thing i dont like is the adjustable wall (needs to have some kind of lock to hold it in place when the flow stops) also the third chamber is a little small for my likings but my reef octopus and mag drive fits nice in it. Also just to let you know jamesdean3 when i simulated a power outage the proflex held all the excess water that poured down and still had room for more. surprisingly this thing holds more water then you think. if i ever build a larger tank then my 90 in the far future i will not think twice on buying a proflex. this thing rocks. the reason why i went this route is because i like the look of a sleek factory look IMO. i figured hey if im going to spend a bunch of money up in the display tank to look nice i might as well make the downstairs look fantastic too.
ps: Even with my skimmer in the third chamber im proudly to say i do not have any micro bubble problems and i see nothing wrong with the skimmer being in the third chamber. It's all in the product and the tune.
Yes agreed if setup right these can look very clean and professional vs a DIY mess of wires and everything.
