Aqueon Pro Flex Sump v. DIY

I have a 110g FOWLR and will be replacing my 20 gallon sump. Doctors Forster and Smith have the Aqueon Pro Flex Model 3 for $208 and the Model 4 for $264. Model 4 might be overkill.

Pricing out the DIY with a 29 gallon (Petco $1 per gallon), two filter socks, custom baffles, flex hose and misc. fittings, and diamond hole saw for bulkhead comes out to around $200. Pricing out the 55 gallon comes out to about $230.

Is the DIY worth it or is the Aqueon Pro Flex a good value for a FOWLR.

I just bought he Aqueon proflex sump a week ago, it arrived yesterday, and it is awesome! Clean and sharp looking sump. I got the model two. Bulkreefsupply priced matched mine, and I was able to get it for 191.99. For 30 bucks diff, and the time to put in, I'd rather go with the proflex.

For the price it is on sale I'm now thinking the same thing. Just need to decide between the model 3 and 4. I have an external pump so I'd like to run my skimmer in the middle chamber and need 9" which would put me at the model 4.
