Are all dottybacks really that mean

I really like the colors of the neon and there swimming mannerism. I also saw a cool indigo one. And they seem like a perfect size for my small tank but says semi aggressive?

Hit or miss, I read they are mean, but I had a neon that didn't bother anyone, kept to himself for the most part. Then one day, I found him on the floor after work, quite disappointing.

My orange dottyback is in my 57 with a potters angel, eibli angel, mystery wrasse, lawnmower blenny, mandarin goby. Hes not aggressive towards anyone. He was also the last fish added to the tank.

I have decided to wait a bit on another fish I until I figure nutrients out however phosphate this morning .0122 and nitrates 3ppm and that is five days after water change. I am still reading and decide if I want a Cheato reactor or a algea scrubber. On this topic I was looking at either a royal gramma which are pretty common or either exquisite fire fish or heilfich firefish however u spell it

Royal Gramma add a lot of flair for a little price.
