Are Aquapod 24 Hood Hinges Removable?

Does anyone know if the aquapod lid hinges are removable? I just got my remora skimmer and need to put it on the back tried to remove them but didn’t want to try to hard and break something is there a special way to remove them?

Might have to break put the dermel but didn’t want to if I don’t need to

they are hard to get off without breaking them i just did it to mine. all i did was unsnap them from the very back then pulled up on them to break them off. thats the only way i could get them off. here the post of my tank i used a coralife super skimmer 65g model. http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=922655

i didnt use a screw driver all i did was with one hand hold the trim so it wouldnt flex alot and then used my other hand to pull on the hinge. you can use a screw driver if they are to hard to get off. just make sure to not let the trim flex alot.
