Are Jade Filefish reef safe?

Mine seems to love zoas and goes after my peppermint shrimp. So reef safe with caution, but very peaceful (with other fish.)

Ok. Anyone els?

I had one that for some reason ended up jumping. It never bothered any of my shrimp or anything. Thought that might be because my big blue-spotted goby ate all of them.

It's all good, once I close up the canopy on my tank I'm getting a pair from my LFS.
Nice!

Yeah, I'm not sure how they are with clams, but I think there might be a couple people on here that could tell you. I guess I'll find out too.

Yeah, I have clams myself. lol

I can say they are OK, but you cannot keep them alive for too long. Unless you take special care of them and hand feed them. They will be a problem for having too many shrimps etc that would take the food before it gets there.

I'd say similar to keeping a mandarin.

I guess I might throw this out there, it never went after my flame scallop, although the scallop did end up dying of old age I guess. The friend I bought it off of had it for a few years, supposedly they usually live for about 4 years or so, so I'm guessing these filefish should be fine with clams, but I'm kinda pulling that out of the air. I can try to find out though.
