I have a couple of Babylonia snails and I intermittently feed them pellets but I am not sure how much I should be feeding them or how often and as a result I'm sure I end up overfeeding and causing a cyanobacteria bloom.
The problem is they rarely come out when the light is on and when I do feed them the cleaner shrimp I have does its level best to eat all the pellets, which leads to me overfeeding. I can presume they are eating something because they have yet to starve in three and a half months but what are the indicators that they're hungry or starving?
Is their snorkel being a bit bent and/or limp a sign?
How much should I be feeding them and how often?
