Are my zoas ok?

I've had these Solar Eclipse zoas for a few weeks now and noticed that they look droopy. I was wondering if they are getting to much light. They look perky when the light comes on and starts to increase in intensity. As the day goes on they get droopy. Is that normal? They are about 6 inches off the sand bed. My tank is a 65g with a Radion xr30w g3.

As long as they open that usually means they are fine. They might get droopy if they are in a low water movement area. Keep an eye on their size as well and make sure they aren't shrinking. Too much light and they will just hide away in their tube i've found to be the case most of the time.

They look ok to me. If you want, you could always place them a little lower in the tank for awhile and see how they respond.

Usually the "umbrella" effect means they want more light. I would try moving them a little higher in the tank. If they start to close up or only open slightly during the day then that usually means they are getting too much light
