Are nano tanks safe?

I want to buy a nano tank. Are they still cracking, Which one should I get Nano cube, Aquapod , Oceanic any input will help.

the nano cubes are the ones that cracked fyi, i believe the others were fine, and im sure its been fixed

I heard a year or so ago from an LFS owner, when I was looking into getting a JBJ nano, that they had several customers with JBJ 24 gallon Nano Cubes crack. I hadn't heard about any 12's cracking. From what he said JBJ claimed they were fixing the problem. I have read of a couple cracking on RC since then. Not sure if they were the old ones or not.

Supposedly the new (2006) model nanocubes are better, with thicker glass. I think if you have a serial number on your cube it's one of the new ones.
