I guess 2 weeks not enough time
Are new lights causing another diatom bloom

I don't think so. But I am not the experienced reefer in the group. I think I read somewhere that you don't want to add much to the tank in a one to two month period. Never double your upload in a month because you bacteria population isn't there to break it down. I swear I wasn't trying to come off harsh at all. I like reading your posts and I from the sounds of things you have a nicely stocked tank. I am sure it's going to be a beautiful reef tank. I personally have a CUC and now 3 fish in my 220. I have what I would consider small amount of coral frags for a tank this size. I am anxious to add more life to the tank, but when I do it will be 1-2 fish every month or two. But I doubt that I am qualified to give advice as I can't get my glass to stay clean. I don't get it. I have >1 nitrate and >.06 po4. I am going to create a post and ask for help. Good luck Brian. It's really ugly right now because of the sand and I only have small frags not much too see

So last night was the full moon and I have the lunar cycle on and nothing happend. So what I did was added some points after lights went off. I don't understand the point of lunar cycle. So if you make your own what color should the moon be like warm white and cool white and what%?
