i been looking at some reef tank builds and i dont know if there rushing or not on there tanks.on alot of the threads people have there tanks no more than 2 months and they have sps corals in there anemoes and fish from tangs to angle fish.and ya can still tell there in there cycle the rock is covered in detris.i waited at least 5 months till i started adding sps coral and i might think thats rushing it maybe iam crazy.i always heard wait at least 6months to have anemoe.i know it really tempting to start loading the tank up but i would like things to survive and not look good for a couple months and die and waste my money.

I couldnt agree more...
Some I have seen throughout the country have not waited at all to put in sps...the next week!
Now if you are adding well cultured LR from your current tank this wouldnt apply.
In the 90's some thought that the corals are important for the cycling, so I was more than happy to load up the tank, but I always had to work my butt off to control the tank, lots of water changes, lots of scrapping and siphoning algae, feed near nothing....the road to burn out and back problems!
One thing I have done the last few years is to have the lights on for up to 8 hours a day, for at least a month, then if no algae pblm - add the coral.
And of course if there is algae, you may need more snails, better skimmer, kalk reactor, more water changes....
