Are Rainbow BTA Rarer than True Rose Bubble Tip?

Are rainbows more sought after and thus making them more pricey or is it the other way around? What is the average price you see at your LFS for either. Also what do Sunburst BTA usually run for. Medium size on all

Depends on where you live and where you buy them. I've got a sunburst that I paid only $30. Yes Thirty bucks. Currently it's trying to kill itself. Started to split last week and decided not to after it was torn in half. It's healed up but not looking great and it's on the side of a rock in the shade. Think I'll give it some fish or shrimp tomorrow and see if it doesn't perk up. It's color was faded badly after this split attempt.

Best place to buy any saltwater critters is locally from other reefers you can find some great deals. Check your area for local swap meets.

i just got a rainbow bta for 90 bucks few days ago
i would have liked to payed less but i wanted it .. lol..
guess its all up to how much ppl in your area are willing to pay

rose and rainbow are pretty much similar here in price. anywhere from $40-100 depending on how nice it looks. Anything with white sparkles may cost a little more.

Colorado sunburst, infernos, lemon drop are on another price level.. usually ~300-500

A "TRUE" sunburst BTA cost around $500, with appropriate lineage. There are alot of fake sunburst BTA's out there that are just rainbow BTA. A rainbow BTA can cost anywhere from $40 to $200. If this is your first BTA I'd grab a rainbow BTA and see what happens.
