Are some GFO brands more or less coarse then others?

Wanting some larger granules, wasn't sure if each brand or source differed, in your experience have you found some to be more coarse then others?

I use the Seachem products for media. Matrix Carbon and Phosguard, both round pellets that don't have a lot of dust and they work excellent for me.

I use rowafos and it works great.for me

I haven't seen any issues between anything in my tank and Phosguard. We also use it in the tank at work and see no issues with anything.

Bulk Reef Supply High Capacity GFO has the largest particle size and least amount of dust

I had issues with the BRS basically forming a clump of GFO mud and not allowing water to pass through it properly.

^ Are you running it in a reactor? All GFO will clump without sufficient flow to tumble it.
