Are there any fish that are 100% safe with my clams?

I have a 125 with a couple of clams, but one I have had for over 10 years. As you can imagine, I am very partial to it and kind of just fit the whole tank around this one big clam. I think it's a squamosa, but it's gotten about 15" long, and EVERYTHING I add seems to either taste it or wallow in it. 3 weeks ago, I got 3 tank-raised neon gobies, and one went right for it. I removed it first try, then the next one did the same within a day. I was able to remove it in a small rock. All was well until yesterday, and the final one did the same thing! I broke big pieces of monti and chalice trying to catch it and finally had to to epoxy it in a hole in an enormous live rock.

So far I have one sailfin blenny, about a half dozen tiny red pygmy gobies, a mandarin, and prawn goby that I see once a month. Outside of those, everything in has had to come out for about the last year now. It's a display tank in my store, and I am getting tired of passers by commenting that there are no fish in it. I don't want a tang or anything that is either large, require much food, or will pace the front glass, but a fish that will "make an appearance" like the rest do. Any thoughts, considerations appreciated.

+1 on the flame hawk. How about a wrasse or some firefish? What else have you put in there that you had to take out?

Anthias? I like my bartlett's, but they need frequent feedings.
I would avoid blennies, I've had them nip at clams in the past.

A single fathead anthias (Serranocirrhitus latus) and a small group of chalk basses (Serranus tortugarum) would be my preferred choice of fishes. I have them in my set up and they show absolutely no interest to my clams.

Do you have a picture of your clam please?

Happy new year.
