Are these aptasias?

Just wondering if some one could identify the new inhabitants in my tank? Or redirect me to the proper forum.

those dont look like aptasia to me. are they forming a matt? (are they all connected by a solid looking goo at the base of them?)
 
hydroids grow with a calcified tube though, and judging from the location of this thing in the middle of the dead lps skeleton on that rock, I'd definitely say it's a coral.

jdog, can you wave your hand over them to get them to retract, and then take a pic?

To me it looks like a Goniopora or Alveopora. I can't count the tenticles on the polyps from the picture (24 goni, 12 alveo). But it definatly looks like dead goniopora or alveopora skeleton around it. It also looks like it is encrusting the rock which I've never seen either species do. Hydroids do not have a skeleton like that.
