Just noticed this white clump yesterday. Any ideas?

Can you get a closer shot of that white clump? It might just be a sponge of some sort.

Yeah, it just looks like a cluster of sponges. In most cases these are harmless, but certain varieties have been known to smother corals on occasion. If you want to remove them you could place the coral in a small bowl of water and use a stiff brush. They should come right off.

Saltwater I assume...

In doing some looking around after I noticed this clump I saw a little white pineapple shaped think on one of my rocks way across the tank. Looks like I am being taken over by sponges!!!

Doing some research now on what to do with them. Not sure how many I have yet.
