Are these parameters good for sps?

I'm pretty new too sps corals. I just tested my tank and I'll share the parameters with you guys and you all can see what you think. I have the brs 2 part kit but I will be using kalk to try to keep the parameters stable. I only have 3 sps and 5 LPS corals at the moment in a 125 gallon tank. Also I don't have a test
For phosphate at the moment but have little to no algae growth. Let me
Know if these parameters are ok because if they are that's where I'll leave them and measure the corals uptake this week.
Nitrate 0ppm api
pH 8.4 on api
Calcium 415 ppm
Magnesium 1360ppm
Alkalinity 7.7 dKH
Salinity 1.025
Temp 77F

Without knowing what your po4 is, it's hard to really say where your alk should be. Personally I prefer it .03 po4 or so and I run alk at 8.5.

There is a really good read on the other board about po4 and sps corals.

Your ranges in general look pretty good though.

The parameters you list are fine but without knowing nitrate and phosphate, you are still in the dark..
But even more important than knowing all the parameters is keeping them stable..
You seem like your are on the right track..

Yeah I need to get a more reliable nitrate test. For phosphate I think I'm going to go with a Hanna checker phosphorous. I guess that is the ultra low range test but seems like that's what I need for phosphates.

I would like to correct my pH results. I didn't like that number as it seemed impossible for it to be that high in the morning hours. I did 2 test with two different reagent bottles and got 8.0...I'll get a max tonight. I will boost it a little with with the kalk here soon.

Hanna phosphorous checker is one of the best, you won't regret of using it.
Your parameters looks ok, but PO4 and NO3 keep certain ratio and make alkalinity rock stable also keys for good SPS results.

Cheers!

How could I increase the nitrate in the tank. I only have 3 fish in my tank at the moment and run my aquamaxx skimmer 24/7. It's idling probably 90% of the day. I don't really want to just increase feedings as this may put to much phosphate into the system
