Are these reef safe?

Just found one of these two nights ago. Now a handful have shown themselves. They are big and pretty cool looking, just not sure if they are reef safe.

Their teeth are among the hardest known substances, and they'll work away at your algae with them.

I had one in my tank which passed on a couple of months ago ... but apparently it was a female . . . pulled a dozen tiny ones out of my skimmer's return with the last water change . . .
