Are these urchins spawning?

Here in my 55 gal tank in my cube at work, my urchins start spewing stuff. Some of them are spewing this white stuff (that looks like dry ice fog).
And then others are spewing this red stuff.

This is totally different looking than there usual crapping.

I had a blue tuxedo urchin do the same thing whenever I did a water change - I was worried the first time I saw it because it looked like it had a white thread tangled on him - then I was informed that it was just a very happy urchin
