Are these wrasse reef safe?

I'm not really into fish but after going through my tang phase, I'll now go into a wrasse phase.

So are these reef safe:

Carpenter wrasse
Exquisite wrasse
High fin wrasse
solarensis wrasse

Pro's/Con's in having wrasse's.

I heard one thing is that you have to have a eggcrate or some device since their jumpers.

they are "reef safe" but they are pickers. I have a friend with a video of his fairy wrasse swimming in and out of his Lg. squamosa clam two days later the clam was dead. your write they are jumpers so i would recommend having a top on your tank especially if you get into buying some of the more colorful and expensive ones. Make sure the wrasse is not too small to fit through the egg crating. every few months someone tells me a story about their fish that slipped through the egg crate and fried under the lights.

Heh - yep, I've had not one but TWO smaller social fairy wrasses find a way to launch themselves straight up through the egg crate and die an untimely death... so fatten yours up in a hurry if/when you get 'em! :-)

Thanks Nate for the heads up. I decided not to purchase them since I'm still figuring out me lighting setup. Need to figure this out before creating a barrier to stop fish from jumping out.
