These zoas are a frag I got almost 2 months ago...
Been happy and healthy... up until my Skimmer pump fried under water. Dumped a bunch of carbon in and got an octopus 250 pro to replace my G1... did a 50 gallon water change (75G tank, 20G sump).
Everything else bounced back within 48 hours and are happy and healthy.
This frag is the only one that didn't. It's been closed up ever since.
Water params:
79.9 Deg. F
Ca 420
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0
Phosphate 0
PH 8.3
dKH 10.5
Alk 10

Same as before.
No additives, feed with Oyster feast and Phyto feast twice a week.
Lights are 4x65W PC, 2 Actinic, 2 10,000K
2 wavemakers (Ebay VP101's) on a quad wavemaker.
Thanks

Not toast - looks like a healthy frag - only closed up. I'd leave it alone and let it do its own thing. No one knows for sure why they're closed up but I think your frag has a good chance of recovering.

Cool... They didn't look like they were dead, so I'll keep them and see what happens.... They are a cool Navy Blue when they do open...

They look alright. I've have some close for a month for no apparent reason and come back strong growing and sprouting heads like crazy.

I agree with everyone else. Give them some time and they will open up.

As of this morning, they started opening... half are fully open, the others aren't closed as tightly as they had been.
