Are they spawning?

Is there eggs on that rock where they are? Though they might be fanning the nest?

Typically, only the male guards and fans the eggs, at least that is how my clowns have done that. Either way, it does looks like spawning behavior to me.

Every time the bigger one gets in that area and stayed to twitch close to the rock the other would follow it and stays nipping at the area. She also had this weird looking thing coming out of the butt area that does not look like poo.
