Are wire corals purely nps?

After what I thought was extensive research, I got a spiralis from my LFS about a week ago. I have it in a nano with tube anemones and a sun coral. The tank is only lit with NO floro actinic blues. I have since read where they are partially photosynthetic. Does anyone know if this is true? I have a recently cycled nano with par 38 lighting if I need to move it.

I have not read that about them. But it makes me wonder. Do you know which species you have and what species you have read on thay says that?

I believe it is a spiralis. I read this on an article at ************.com, and I believe LA as well. So far, mine seems to be eating everything I throw at it, even mysis!

Update, I moved the wire to my new reef a week ago. What is suprising is that it seems to be doing better in a higher light, temperature reef environment. Whether this is due to the light, temps, or a serious lack of nitrates, I don't know yet.
